This one always puts that song "Circle of Life" in my head. I don't know why.

They’re not - not even brothers. It was just the name of their band.

I would still hit Susana Hoffs like a toy monkey on a drum...Me too but only before the wedding to my little psychotic bride to be. (She supports the 2nd amendment and would shoot me.)

Ain’t America great! Only in America can you go from 80’s female pop band to 21st century male gubernatorial candidate.

Working For the Weekend". yeah. but there were other songs. A couple of good ones.
At least they're not out there screaming, "we're legit! we're musicians" 20 years later, even though they were musicians and as pop goes it was functional and often more original than most.

Egad! Earlier today I saw a late 80’s model Oldsmobile SUV with a Cinderella sticker and a Pantera decal in the bumper.... Weird!

I loved Hart To Hart too! We’d watch every single episode!

I almost turned it off around the halfway point (thought it was kinda lame) but then it got funny when Dave started singing. I’m not the world’s biggest Will Ferrell fan.
It’s strangely hypnotic watching Dave Grohl chew gum like a holstein and still be able to sing. :)

I remember seeing footage of Paul Kantner being interviewed. When asked what he thought of “We Built This City,” he scoffed, flipped the bird to the camera, and sneered, “shut up. did not.”

I was listening to my B-52’s “Party Mega Mix/Mesopotamia” CD (I keep it in the car) today and I must say that Cindy’s vocals in “Nip It In the Bud” and “Loveland” are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
To: lainie
Yea, Ferrell is a strange fella.
Dave Grohl is too funny.... even when Will is making it impossible for him to sing & play the guitar at the same time - he still manages to get through it!
To: lainie
We Built This City" From all surveys, polls and accounts, this appears to always be voted the worse song in rock & roll. What does "knee deep in the hoopla" mean, anyway?!
To: lainie; ncdrumr
UGH! I just read in Wikipedia that “We Built This City” was written by Bernie Taupin, Martin Page, Dennis Lambert, and Peter Wolf. These guys are all great songwriters. Not their best work, though.
