Got an Iphone for my birthday (thank you to the wife). It exceeded my expectations which were high. My wife convinced me to change after my HP notebook was killed, I won’t go back. My only complaint is that I have the Oxford English Dictionary on CD-ROM. It will not work on the MAC and I don’t have the intel chip to run windows with my iBook.

That app doesn't require speed... you can use VirtualPC and a copy of WindowsXP to run it on your iBook. That's what I did.

If you are just using it to look up words, the Mac has its own built in New Oxford American Dictionary. Just highlight a word and Ctrl or right click. It includes a thesaurus as well.

Macs come with a built-in New Oxford American Dictionary. Just type the word in Spotlight and click on the Dictionary result. From there you can also look it up in the thesaurus or Wikipedia with one more click.
