I buy and use Apple computers, just bought a Samsung BlueRay Disc Player, use a Samsung Color Laser Printer, have a Samsung 10.1M Pixel digital camera, enjoyed eating at Cracker Barrel when I was Indiana last year, watch Showtime, HBO, and even some Bravo (Mrs and Miss Swordmaker love it), shop at Walmart, stuff myself on Dunkin Donuts occasionally, and sometimes buy gasoline from Exxon/Mobil... but I haven't worn Levi's since I left elementary school some 47 years ago, don't drink hard liquor, and am completely, totally, absolutely heterosexual and conservative.
Stop making those eyes at me. STOP IT!

Which came first? The Rainbow Apple Logo or Gays and Lesbians adopting the rainbow colors as an emblem?
If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
Bwaaah...Richard straight.
This is one reason I have continued to buy gas at Exxon Mobil.
Pisses me off that Apple is so high, as I was thinking about getting a Mac next time. But then what hte heck should I have expected?
i’m kinda surprise starbucks didn’t make the list
Bet you liked swordfights as a kid too.
Methinks he doth protest too much.
At first I thought a funny remark could be made, but then when I did a search on google it was all just way too sad and real; there are just too many sexually obsessed idiots out there for it to be funny anymore.
According to the study, more than two-thirds (68 per cent) of gay and lesbian consumers said they are more likely to buy from a company they considered to be gay-friendly
There goes 1.4% of total market share for Wal-Mart, Dunkin Donuts, Exxon. I'm sure the can withstand that devastating market impact.
lemon parties (probably not the same as an apple party)
The Lavender Mafia wants advertising dollars and corporate kickbacks.
I think in itself, Walmart is neither anti nor pro gays. Their close association with Republican conservatives (where they sell guns, not allowing unions, and so on) spillovers to being anti gay as well.
Certainly no benefit in alienating any audience no matter how small that audience is. I haven’t noticed anything particularly “gay” about the advertisements or anything like that. The high rating probably has as much to do with being considered a “cool” brand as anything else.
Let me get this straight. This is not about a company actually being gay-friendly, but about how gays perceive the company for whatever dumb ass reason? Not to be harsh, but how is this relevant to people who don’t give a damn what gays think? I know, you post all Apple news, and this does qualify.
Maybe they just think Jobs looks cute in that turtleneck.
I always pick an Exxon station over any others when there's a choice, and for this reason exactly.
Oh boy, donuts!
Start learning to like Vaseline?
OK, I just have to defend the Mac users here and Apple in general. I use a Windows based PC every single day but I am a former Mac-Devotee from the early 90s and only converted because my client base had already purchased their massive inventory of PCs (think largest oil company in the world and other such clients in the energy and technology sectors). This is just silly. Apple makes kick-a$$ products and that’s all there is to it. Apple does not overtly promote or affiliate themselves as “gay friendly.” Yes, many people who provide creative services use Macs and the “arts” has a higher percentage of gay people than say “developers” but I personally would draw the line there ... unless there is concrete proof from Apple that they are gay-friendly like Disney??
I’ve got an Intel Imac, an intel macbook, an 80 gig ipod with video and an 8gig Iphone.
BUT, if you’ve ever been to macrumors.com it’s a slight step above DU. Read the “political” discussions only after taking your high blood pressure meds. Otherwise lots of good info there.
