American psychologists have unearthed a marital rating scale used by marriage counsellors in 1939 to assess the performance of wives and the categories make interesting reading for modern couples brought up to believe in the equality of the sexes.
Women are awarded marks if they dress for breakfast, ask their husbands opinions on important decisions and let their partners sleep late on Sundays and holidays.....

I was sad I only got 14 but I’m happy now to know there are more pages. I got big points for going to church and Sunday School - while letting my husband sleep in.

I never mentioned you by name.
Funny that you felt the need to reply to my humor.

Clearly it’s a conspiracy to give women low self esteem! ;)

“The man is, biblically, supposed to lead the family in religious matters, including discipleship and righteousness.”
There was some logic behind that. I have seen a study done that show children are much more likely to continue to go to Church as they get older if Church is an important part of Dads life. If Mom is the one dragging the kids off to Church, they tend to drift away from Church later. The same study was done about prayer.

No,
I’m just the keeper of the “Women ‘R Evil” ping list so like the Lullaby League in the Wizard of OZ, I feel it’s my duty to speak for maligned :)
As for guilty conscience....nah,
Right now I’m on another board talking about our ideal alphas and our favorite literary heros. We love men-— who love women :)

Its only the 1st page of many. Not sure how many maybe five or six. Here's the whole quiz with sections for both the husband and wife.

Women are the same way according to what I’m reading and hearing (and believe)-— they want a man who treats them well and loves having great sex with them.
I guess the genders are more alike than we’ve thought.

It's all about THEM, y'see.

Hey! I want to see all of the sets. That one was only the first set. I could use this stuff as great illustration material when teaching on the family.
Anybody seen more sets?
To: najida
Najida, you are such a scold and a fishwife. Women want Alpha but take what they can get. My English Ancestors had a rather extensive number of desciptive phrases for women, and a great play, “The Taming of the Shrew”.
