American psychologists have unearthed a “marital rating scale” used by marriage counsellors in 1939 to assess the performance of wives – and the categories make interesting reading for modern couples brought up to believe in the equality of the sexes.

Women are awarded marks if they dress for breakfast, ask their husband’s opinions on important decisions and let their partners sleep late on Sundays and holidays.....

I’m don’t like being read to either...but the toothpaste thing is funny...I have overcome my toothpaste issues. I buy it in the little bottle thingys...NOT the retro tubes. I could never stand the avalanche of toothpaste with the cap stuck in it...

lol yep! The bottle things do make it easier. We used to buy them too, but now we go to BJs (and my husband loves BJs, and it’s a joke between us) which is a wholesale place? Anyway, we buy in bulk. And, they don’t have the bottle toothpaste. Retro tubes? Are those the regular tubes of toothpaste?

Drives him nuts that I squeeze from the top. And, leave the cap off. I can’t seem to stop. And two of the kids do it too, and two don’t.

Does your husband know about your extreme obsession with this “Sawyer” guy?

Ya know, I didn’t notice any shaving on the quiz. Maybe they didn’t do that back then?

Hmmm. Good.

But, I’d get points off for the pjs part (again). Cotton until it comes off and too lazy to put it back on.

Toilet seat not a problem here. 1 male, 5 females, 2 female cats. It’s down. We do fight over whether the toilet paper is over or under.

Love sports.

Hate shopping, for the most part. Wouldn’t mind it if I had tons of money to spend, lol

Wouldn’t dream of complaining about poker/guys night out unless the reverse was a problem ;)

I don’t think I bitch but can’t be sure. I’m certainly not pleasant all the time and for goodness sakes just fix the damn thing already so I don’t have to hire someone. ;)

How’s that for now? You gonna do a husband one?

It’s not an obsession. Well, maybe a little bit of one. Besides, he swears he’s a homo. He thinks Nathan is too. I think he’s just saying that to tick me off, lol. And those are the two characters he doesn’t like. He doesn’t watch OTH but does watch LOST with us. Sawyer isn’t his fav character for sure, lol. He’s more into Kate, rme.

LOL!

First one is a given, come on.

I do like shaved but a little stubble is hot too.

This ones a given too. Duh. 5 minutes?

LOL gotta give huge credit for this one. Poor guy lives with 5 females.

Ewww, lol. Men are pigs in that way.

LOL or tries so hard to say the hairstyle looks great when he really wishes you didn’t change it at all. Mega points for that one.

Well, I’ve accepted the snoring and perfected the punch.

Money is always good. Not the most important thing, though, but it helps.

Keeping fit is also good. Healthy is good.

Heh. Makes dinner at least weekly.

Says I love you at least once a day. Even when mad ;)

Life is really easy when saying I love you, no matter how angry because no matter how angry, it’s still there.

"She gets points for being jolly and GAY?????"

GAY really did mean carefree/happy/cheerful at one time. But no more. :-(
