Happy Mother's Day weekend. Hard to believe that my Mom has been gone close to 30 years. If you have them love them while you can.
Dads, don't feel neglected. Your weekend is soon.
I’ve been scanning news sites. I don’t think any pictures have been released yet.
If Jenna is anything like my daughter, she’ll want to approve any pictures that are released for public viewing.
And if she is anything like me, NOTHING will be approved. LOL!
TA DAAAAA!!!!
I am curious what the area does look like. I was in Biloxi 3 years after Camille and it was, even then, unbelievable. In fact, I was down on the coast in ‘93 or ‘94 and there were still scars from Camille.
And I am signing off now. The youngest has made a peach pie for me. It has now baked fully. Before I go, I want to let y’all know that hurricanes do not form over the equator or within 5 degrees of it. Now, sometimes, really strong winds will fight the corriolis forces and blow across the equator, but that is a relatively rare occurance too. Just thought I’d let y’all know.
Ooops, forgot the flowers.
Have a great day. And thanks for the information. :)
Good morning Toby. How’s the weather your way? We’re getting some showers and thunderstorms right now. Just watered yesterday.
But it was wonderful to meet Toby, his daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter and the dogs, kitties and hens and rooster. I know the family has grown since then. But all the tidbits he says about how wonderful his family is, is NOT an exaggeration!!!
The story of the decade, don’t do as I did hubby’s, went out to eat on mothers day and the lady at the cachier counter ask ‘Toby, what did you get Treva for mothers day’ and those fatal words, ‘NOTHING, SHE AIN’T MY MOMMA’ bad choice of words, beleive me.
Good Morning.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the ATRW Mom’s,, and also to those who ‘helped’ others become Mothers! :>)
All you mommas out in our little Freeper world, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY AND MAY IT BE A BLESSED ONE. IT IS LIKE THE 6’ SON who told his mother, I will forever ‘look up to you’.
Toby
Years ago I played Mahjong. I’ve lost my stands and ivorys along the way. I loved it then. I may still have my directions somewhere, I’ll have to check.
Sorry to hear your spring has not yet appeared. We had summer yesterday. Lucky for us a breeze blew up at the birthday party, which was outside, and kept things tolerable. When the breeze died most of us left.
That’s what the presstitutes are trying to do, Toby. They are suggesting HILL-O-REE drop out of the race. Should that happen, the presstitutes will suggest McCain drop out, and Hussein will have a shoe-in the whitehouse. When that happens MI-SHELL can cure all female ills in this country.
Lovely breakfast, lysie, AND a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to you.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all.
Till....I am going to buy a Mahjong set - I have been lurking on e-bay and have checked out several other places too. I really like the black tiles. Anne and I are going into to Portland one day soon to check game sets out in the stores in Chinatown. I really do enjoy playing!
Good Morning Toby - I think of you everytime I allow myself a bowl of grits for breakfast. Now I realize grits don't have to be FATTENING if you eat a small portion. However, if I am gonna eat grits, then it has to be a BIG bowl with a huge glob of butter :-)
