What would be great entertainment at the RNC in Minneapolis?

A colleague of mine and I were discussing great groups that would be ideal for entertaining at the Republican National Convention, and I thought why not see if any of the many brilliant freepers might have a bit of wisdom in this matter.
I'm a little older so not too up on all that hip music the kids are listening to, but some good ideas were:
3 Doors Down Switchfoot Sara Evans
and my favorite:
Hall & Oates (I told you I was old)
I appreciate any constructive ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I’d sure get a chuckle out of it.
McCain ate far worse way back when.
Huckabee and all those who support going green would likely literally go green as well after the first swallow or two.. ;-)

Considering who they are about to nominate and what he will do to the country, I would suggest they hire the rock band known as the Butt hole Surfers.

Oh, I get it - you're talking about the entertainment! Something has to counter the nominee.

on cold nights they would customarily sleep in a hole in the ground while embracing a dingo, a native species of wild dog.
On colder nights they would sleep with two dogs, and if a night was especially cold, it was a Three Dog Night”
I actually learned that in my teens, way before the internet...

Ryan Stiles of The Drew Carey Show fame? He’s a funny guy. Do you have the source saying he is a conservative? I know Drew Carey is, but I had no idea Ryan Stiles is conservative.
Also what about Van the Man? I love his music, I had no idea he was conservative.

Um, who are all these people? The only names I recognise are the guys who were in the space program, the girl from Buffy, Ahnold, and (please, please, let this not be true) Britney. Oh, and the soccer player who took off her shirt at the women's world cup a few years back...
I'm gonna second the original poster's idea for Switchfoot and 3 Doors Down (Their 'Citizen Soldier' song would go over spectacularly at an event like that!), and whoever suggested anyone who's been on American Idol in the last couple years.
