It was hard to tell what heads went with what bodys, and I think one head is down in the pile somewhere, so that made counting even harder. It was almost like looking at one of those pictures of spotted horses on a background of snow and rocks, or birch trees and trying to figure out how many horses there are.

Those kind of stories likely were written by folks who didn't see the rally, since The Villages ('America's Friendliest Hometown') is a retirement community. There were loads of folks of all ages there, from as far away as Gainesville in the north to Tampa in the southwest and Orlando in the southeast. Some came all the way up from Miami (5 hours). The Palins spent the early part of the day at Disneyworld.
The Palin Derangement Syndrome is getting out of control. I’ve never seen such irrational, white hot hatred before. Not even against G.W. Just, woah.
And all by sweet, compassionate libs, full of hope and convinced that conservatives are such haters.

Speaking of which, a colleague of mine is an O-6 in the reserves, did a tour in Iraq last year. Told us the story just yesterday of him sitting in the mess hall with an Iraqi "general" chatting. The General kept eyeing our women soldiers, speculating which one would make a good new wife #7. He had a recent opening on the wife roster. My colleague dared ask what that meant. Apparently wife #7 gave him some back talk in town one day, so when they got home he took her out in the back yard and shot her in the head. Thus an opening for a new wife #7. Colleague had the unsavory task of trying to educate that pig in how to behave in a civilized world.
Stories like that leave an emotional stain on a soul. We are all truly blessed to live in this country.

I’m hoping that someone, somewhere in the MSM picks up the story that Axelrod is connected to the YouTube videos trashing Governor Palin.

It was great...at one point a woman came up and said “You can still take the smaller van...that many people will fit on it.” and CenterofUniverseMan says “Sure they’ll fit if they’re ALL SKINNY! We’re Southern Baptist, we eat a lot and you can bet not everyone is gonna be SKINNY! She needs to take the bigger van!”

Be thinking about me this afternoon and evening...I’m working an eight hour shift. They’re usually really hard on me but I’ve been canceled the past 3 out of four times I’ve been scheduled and I need the hours.
It is pretty amazing. About 10% of that is my profit margin. But that's not bad for a few hours work playing with Photoshop.
The only marketing I've done is the links I've posted on FR (some of which have been pulled) and posting this on my blog and Twitter. The bulk of the orders have come through CafePress.
It doesn't pay the mortgage. But it does pay for my Internet addiction.
Cool! Now you can afford to buy Luke a kitty.

Our Wicket goes in to be spayed today and then we’ll go up, I think, and pick up the camper, if it’s done at the shop.
So be thinking of us too, and Wicket, that nothing goes wrong with her, and that nothing goes wrong with us towing our storm home down here. It’s about an hour away.
