Heh, good entry! I noticed that the McCain shop now has “Read My Lipstick” items. Theirs are on a black background with red lipstick, though. I like the pink color scheme, myself; less sultry, and more ‘kick a$$’ looking!

I had 2.5 inches in the gauge this afternoon.
We likely had a similar amount in as much as the bird baths were full to the rim.
Still, we would rather have an occasional tornado than the hurricanes like Ike.
I don’t think I’d like to deal with storm surge.
Nah, your design is cuter! I got an e-mail from them today, showing even MORE Palin gear! It will be fun seeing young girls and their Moms show up at McCain rallies with matching Sarah Palin t-shirts! What an excellent role model for young women; a woman who is truly successful in her own right. She didn’t get where she is because her husband was a powerful politician, nor did she sleep her way to the top.
Yup, I like the radio interview with the fella from Galveston. ‘I was going to stay but I walked to the sea wall. Waves were breaking over it and the storm hasn’t even got here yet. I’m going.’
I had the houston fox channel streaming at werk all day. The flooding started before lunch.

Mornin’. We’re workin’ on stuff for the consignment sale (next Saturday). Today will likely involve at least one trip to Goodwill.
And I need to put up hay in the back yard...
3.5 inches since yesterday afternoon...6 inches total.
Just tell the naybers, “I’m replicating the mixed short grass prairie and oak forest that were once the prevalent ecosystem in this area.” Well, it could have been. :-)
Too bad we couldn’t get it spread out a bit. Still, it beats using city water. The city hasn’t figured out a way to charge us for rainfall, yet.
