Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
That’s the job for me!
Werks for me....
Heh...there were some folks on another thread already discussing running mates for her daughter Piper in thirty or forty years. She already seems to know how to work a crowd. ;-)
It was priceless when she used the “mom spit” to straighten the baby’s hair.
That popcorn looks good...
cravings?
I've been a bit amazed this morning, thinking about how yet again the country has found the leader it needs, at the time she (this time, a she!) is needed. I'd vote for her for President this year.
Angel in the Whirlwind, and all that.
And I’ve been amused at how absolutely gobsmacked the cojoined twins of the left and MSM are. They don’t know what hit them and they’re in full blown panic.
Rush just said “she’s not Reagan.” I agree. But she’s the first person since Reagan to inspire the party in this way.
And to think I was there when it all began...so to speak...
Beautiful...ain’t it?
LOL! I loved that! She IS just the cutest thing. Sarah Palin's entire family is just so extremely POISED! I loved it, too, that they invited Bristol's fiancee to join the family in their seats, and onstage. That's just so "in your face" to the media!!
Tricksy hobbits! ;o)
Uh-huh... tell us something we don’t know ;-)
Kind of. But painful, too. Especially since I’ve already decided not to get involved. I’m just not good enough at representing my point of view, even if I thought it appropriate to do so.
So, anyway, official announcement. Hope I didn’t forget anyone.
Talon and I are expecting a baby in late April (April 25th I think is the due date).
Obviously we don’t yet know whether it’s a boy or girl (or even two of them, heh) but we’ll keep you all posted.
All I know right now is apparently he doesn’t believe in lunch. Breakfast is fine, dinner is fine, but lunch seems to be a mistake.
but you forgot I was supposed to be the first to know...
