Saturday Night Singles
While I'm watching the Giants play the Phillies tonight, here is tonight's question(s)
1. I hate to get into something this heavy handed, but do you ever look at, say, my nephew or maybe a little one in your family and say "this is why I'm against abortion"? With that in mind I have a very liberal female coworker who once mentioned to me that "men shouldn't even have an opinion on the issue of abortion"...but me, being the wiseacre that I am, said "uh, need I remind you that it was nine men that gave America Roe v. Wade?" :)
2. Do women have an innate predilection to disliking beer? Now, I like drinking an ice cold beer, but I've talked to a lot of women who absolutely think it's disgusting. I was always curious if this is genetic, hereditary, etc.?

There are certain women AND men that should have their reproductive rights revoked, but I’m against abortion. I strongly believe that, unless you are some sort of sociopath and have no feelings, that every abortion leaves a woman scarred psychologically. Unfortunately, many women are so desparate to have a man in their lives that they are willing to abort their own flesh and blood to avoid the risk of losing a man. How sad!
I am a woman and I prefer a good beer rather than wine or any other kind of alcoholic beverage. The only problem is that I get tipsy after only one.

It may depend on your background. My Norwegian friend (and her Danish and Norwegian friends that I've met) has no problem drinking beer. At all. By the keg full.

On the other hand, I'm a little older and remember my mother telling me that women didn't drink beer. Even in college, I wasn't a beer drinker. I don't care for the taste and don't want to be considered a beer drinking woman. Yeah, that's probably an old fashioned mindset, but there ya go.

I read a food study that said men more than woman liked Asparugus.

I wouldnt know it by the chats at the asparugus section.
I do know by the women who buy it like me at high cost or if it looks a bit rough/tough that it is a hard veggie to grow.
Takes 2years or was it 3 for the first harvest if ya get that far (consider we live in the PNW coastal). But it continues to harvest for 22yrs that is why they sometimes have thick stems them are the aged crops.

As far as beer I drank it alot when young love the stuff but just picky about brew.
Dont anymore except a few in the summer but more than a couple make that condition flare up where the big toe feels like ya broke it..

Used to be a beer from Arizona that had a whole chili in it Chilli beer have not seen that in years.
