My Dragonfly And Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I am starting out slow roday..I spent an inordinate amount of time just trying to get some graphics to show..I kept resetting my wireless to no avail..then suddenly all started displaying again.

Doing well, thanks. Yesterday, was running around day, groceries, banking, post office, mundane stuff that has to be done.
I am glad that is out of the way, today it is gray and gloomy, we had showers in the night, and we needed the rain.
I am slow getting around too, have been all week. I noticed some graphics not showing up yesterday, must be a web issue. Lady Jag’s were not showing up so I don’t think it was just yours.

AH..I am glad ot hear it as none of my usual tricks worked.
I am ready for some sun..We have had stormy weather here..but not damaging..for a few day...South of me it has been bad..Arrowhead posted some unbelievable hail pictures..larger than a tennis ball... from the Austin area.
The rain we have received has been needed..but bring on the sun!

The Robin - A Welcomed Guest

There is no more welcomed spring guest
Than the robin with its orange colored breast.
A splendid bird in the midst of the grass
Searching for insects and scurrying so fast.
Even though the ground is still so cold,
Yet - bringing birdwatchers a joy to behold.
Study the robin diligently and you will find
It is seldom shy of the presence of humankind.
An orange body and black face,
Still, it contributes to spring and summer's grace.
Its very presence stimulates the heart,
With an appreciation for nature's part.
