[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly And Me


If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!


By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone


On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...


And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...


Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Rainy, dark and depressing here today, bah humbug. The painters came at 7:30 and left at 8:30. Oh well, we need the rain, hope your weather is pleasant.

After a couple of unsettled sometimes rainy days..we do have a sunny lovely day. There were tornadoes, high winds and hail just east of us yesterday..There was some building damage in more rural areas, power lines and trees down..no injuries or deaths.

I know you are ready for the painters to “git er done”!

They don’t talk to me, you nut case, anyway they are out there now, must have been an early coffee break. ;0)

Oh, I am soooo ready, they just keep tromping back and forth over the Clematis, I am sure it is a goner. The only thing I can do is to move the vine, I may have to do that in order to save the root system. Problem is there is no place safe from their reach, they throw stuff hither and yon.

Glad you had no storm damage at your place. More storms coming for some folks, so glad we don’t have that to deal with.
