 My Dragonfly And Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
 fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
 silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Insanity is hereditary! ...You inherit it from your kids... You mean to say that RK is one or more of your voices?

    Another poem -wonderful!
After a 2 hour long sleep wrapped in my wool blankets I finally got warm.
Good news, I was told today, the house painting job will finish this week! YAY!

To: Soaring Feather
Thank you Feather. The day is gone, hope you had a nice one!

The day was okay, we are so cold up here with no sunshine until it is ready to set.
Hope your day was fine.

To: Soaring Feather
I just read up a couple of posts and looks like neither you nor I were feeling our best today. Tomorrow will be better.
Hope it warms up for you, I’m in Texas and don’t think I could live in a cold place.

The house is looking gorgeous, it has two undercoats of white and a top coat of white. The trim is Dartmouth Green. The front and back porches are to be green also.
It has been a long job. They sanded down to the old clapboards -200 years old. A lot of filling, sanding and scraping was going on. When they put the downspouts back up I will believe they are on the way out. ;0)

This was the house my Aunt and Uncle owned, my brother and I inherited the property, we sold it years ago. We spent our childhood in this house.
