Yorkie, I found my parrot joke tonight! You all may have gotten the same thing. Seems no matter where we live in the U. S., we all get the same emails about the same time~~LOL~~
Cheap Parrot A woman went to a pet shop and immediately spotted a large, beautiful parrot. There was a sign on the cage that said $50.00. Why so little? she asked the pet store owner. The owner looked at her and said, Look, I should tell you first that this bird used to live in a house of prostitution and sometimes it says some pretty vulgar stuff. The woman thought about this, but decided she had to have the bird anyway. She took it home and hung the birds cage up in her living room and waited for it to say something. The bird looked around the room, then at her, and said, New house, new madam. The woman was a bit shocked at the implication, but then thought, Thats really not so bad. When her two daughters returned from school the bird saw and said, New house, new madam, new girls. The girls and the woman were a bit offended but then began to laugh about the situation considering how and where the parrot had been raised. Moments later, the womans husband Keith came home from work. The bird looked at him and said, Hi, Keith!

Your dog is so precious.
Isn’t that cute smelling the wisteria. I know you love her...she is very lovable!

Thank you for the lovely compliment Kitty! Maybe some of your kindness has rubbed off on me! I think we all try to live by the Golden Rule, don’t you? Our President always said that in the beginning of his Presidency but no one wanted to treat him nice! We really need to pray for him as he has a tough time with the criticism he gets daily.

Your gift bag was there and Jim told me that you and JK brought him lots of goodies yesterday.
He also said the guy we worked for for many years came by yesterday. Talked for awhile and left when you and JK got there.
I’ve been trying to keep old friends updated as to what is happening.

Extra hot yesterday and today but suppose to cool down 20 or more degrees by Wednesday.
I wish it would stay in the low 80’s for awhile. That is comfortable for me.

I keep my distance from parrots. One bit me once and drew blood. They look at me with those little beady eyes...lol.

Ookay, I will never catch up on pings, but this one of you and Doggie is not to be missed!! The two of you look lovely, and great together!! (((HUGS, Kitty Mittens!)))

Thanks, dita. I think we are all winners in this deal. My mom seems so happy to have a little lap dog to hold and pet and cuddle. Chachi just loves his new little Sis. This was meant to be. :-)

This is so excellent that your Mom is fond of animals, gives her some companionship and focus. We here all love pets but they are a special consolation to the aged. And, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black-and-white chihuahua either. She is soooooo cute:) And for Chachi to be enamored of her, how special is that?
To: La Enchiladita
And, I dont think Ive ever seen a black-and-white chihuahua either. No, neither have I. The vet's assistant called her a chihuahua, but we are thinking that she has toy fox terrier in her. That could be where the black and white comes from. She does have the little chihuahua apple head. But, the coloring is wrong for a chihuahua.
I guess we will never know. A friend of mine had her dog's DNA tested to find out what breed she is. I don't know how exact the science is, but for her money she was told her dog does not have any Rhodesian Ridgeback in her. That was kind of a bummer, my friend was just sure her dog was almost purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback.
