The November 2008 choice will be between McCain and Clinton or McCain and Obama.

Not McCain and YOU.

Not McCain and ME.

And sure as h*ll not McCain and whoever you wanted to get the nomination.

Can we just get on with things? Elections are not wish lists. They are choices and in America on presidential general elections they are choices between TWO people.

I cried the day Ronald Reagan past away. But he ain’t coming back and he won’t be on the ballot.

So, while McCain is certainly not everything I wished he was and there are several problem areas that he has failed us on. The fact is, he is head and shoulders above ANYTHING the democrats have to offer.

There are hundreds of reasons to vote for McCain and push him as opposed to the other candidate. Here are a few:
McCain will tax less...
McCain will hold the line on terror better...
McCain will do better on borders...
McCain doesn’t hate the military...
McCain will do more to protect the unborn...
McCain will spend less...
McCain will have more respect from foreign leaders both friend and foe...
McCain will do more to keep the death tax suspended...
McCain has a more attractive spouse...
McCain will hold the line on communist expansion in South America better...
McCain is LESS succored in re: global warming...
McCain will appoint better judges...
McCain will give more respect to the right to keep and bear arms...
McCain will give more respect to free speech...

So, while McCain is certainly not everything I wished he was and there are several problem areas that he has failed us on. The fact is, he is head and shoulders above ANYTHING the democrats have to offer.

Here is McCain's Recent History over the last 7 years:

1. Gang of Fourteen (Kept some of President Bush’s best judges from being presented for a vote)
2. McCain-Fiengold (Assault on Free Speech and Pro-Life groups and Gun-rights groups)
3. McCain-Kennedy (Amnesty for criminal Illegal Aliens)
4. McCain-Lieberman (50 cents a gallon tax)
5. Total support for global warming scam, including carbo cap and trade system.
6. Support for embryonic stem cell research (Murder of unborn babies).
7. Leaked top-secret information concerning CIA prisons in Europe
8. Wants to close Gitmo and give Terrorists access to our legal system.
9. F grade from Gun-Owners of America.
10. C- grade from NRA.
11. 60% score from American Conservative Union in 2006
12. Wants to bail out sub-prime losers (many of which are either illegal aliens or lied on thier applications) with US tax money.
13. Voted against President Bush’s tax cuts (called them tax-cuts for the rich)
14. Flirted with the idea of crossing over to the Dems in 2004.

Now you be the judge as to whether or not his principles match up enough with your principles and whether or not you can vote for him!

What you might want to add into your calculation is if you are willing to destroy the conservative nature of the GOP, the GOP itself, and more than likely, hasten the destruction of our nation.

There are two probably scenarios that will play out during the next four years:

1. A democrat is elected President and the GOP in both the House and Senate finally find their backbone and fight all things socialist that the Democrats would like to push through congress. This will guarantee a stalemate and the success of the agenda of the Left will be severly limited.

2. Our RINO McCain is elected and the benefit, as perceived by our congressmen/congresswomen, of standing up against socialist measures will be severely diminished as John McCain will be pushing most of the same socialist/liberal agenda including Global Warming (Kyoto II), Cap and Trade system, Illegal Alien Amnesty, some form of socialized health care where you and I are footing the bill for others, etc.

Just by McCain granting Amnesty, the GOP will be relegated to minority status for decades to come. The impact will be two-fold: first, 20-30 million+ illegal aliens who vote 70% for Democrats will be immediately dumped into the American Electorate thereby erasing the thin margins between Democrat and Republican voters. Secondly, by ignoring the strongly held principles of the base of the GOP, conservatives, he will have driven millions of conservatives from the party and also dis-engaged millions more.

Choose wisely my friend, your future depends on this choice.

When I joined the military I swore an oath to “defend the Constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic”. That oath didn’t expire when I left the service. John McCain, the democrats, and the RINOs are enemies of the US Constitution. Their lust for power and control over the masses continue to shred the Constitution daily. How much longer will people like you vote for the lesser of two evils with each choice becoming a little more evil than the last until there is nothing left but evil?

The November 2008 choice will be between McCain and Clinton or McCain and Obama.

That is yet to be determined.

Can we just get on with things? Elections are not wish lists. They are choices and in America on presidential general elections they are choices between TWO people.

Sure we can. That means of course, trashing liberals wherever we find them, which does include John friggin McCain. Oh, and there will be more than TWO PEOPLE on the ballot.

I cried the day Ronald Reagan past away. But he ain’t coming back and he won’t be on the ballot.

True, but a Reagan Conservative will be on the ballot- And if there isn't, then I would encourage you to write one in. That is certainly what I am going to do.

So, while McCain is certainly not everything I wished he was and there are several problem areas that he has failed us on.

*blink* *blink* : |

Oh! you mean like 'character', 'conservatism', and stuff like that?

There are hundreds of reasons to vote for McCain and push him as opposed to the other candidate. Here are a few:

McCain will tax less... Yeah. Cap and trade, socialized health care, welfare to amnestied illegals... without taxing...
McCain will hold the line on terror better... Not without guarding the borders...
McCain will do better on borders... You are smoking crack.
McCain doesn’t hate the military...So? There will be another that can be said of...
McCain will do more to protect the unborn... He will do nothing to protect the unborn.
McCain will spend less... Cap and trade, socialized health care, welfare to amnestied illegals... without spending... riiiiight.
McCain will have more respect from foreign leaders both friend and foe... Why? He is traitorous, dishonorable, and ignoble. How does that inspire respect?
McCain will do more to keep the death tax suspended... eh~ maybe... but I bet it is on the table for negotiations.
McCain has a more attractive spouse... Ooh, there's a great reason /not
McCain will hold the line on communist expansion in South America better... Why would he? He is a socialist.
McCain is LESS succored in re: global warming... Bullcrap.
McCain will appoint better judges... Unproven.
McCain will give more respect to the right to keep and bear arms... He flunks with GOA...
McCain will give more respect to free speech... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You're kidding, right? LOL!

Elections are not wish lists. They are choices and in America on presidential general elections they are choices between TWO people.

Amen to that. Would'a, could'a, should'a is theory, and voting (or not) for those on the ballot is the reality, no matter how lousy the choice may be (and is, in this case).

I despise McCain...but I love my country more than that, and enough to do everything possible to stop either of the other 2.

The Republican primaries are over. Once that's the case, you no longer have a choice between a bunch of people who share many positions (even if not all) with you, and you're left with someone who maybe agrees with you 50%-75% of the time vs. someone who does so maybe 5% of the time. The choice, though not ideal, is clear between McCain and the others.

We conservatives have to do what Brooklyn Dodger fans did quite a bit..."Wait till next year."

Do you know this for a fact?

Can you raise your right hand and swear before Almighty God these things will happen?

Or do you only have Mc Cain’s word fp it?

Top 10 Reasons Not to Vote for McCain

They are choices and in America on presidential general elections they are choices between TWO people.

Wrong. We have more than two choices including not voting for either one and leaving it blank or voting for a third party candidate. If McCain, the party's maverick, can vote on the basis of conscience and principle over party, so can I. I will not vote for anyone whose policies will destroy this country. Amnesty will destroy this country with a stroke of a pen. McCain is the Amnesty King. I won't vote for Hillary/Obama for the same reason.
