ain’t touching this till there’s some feedback from folks w/sacrificial machines to beta the thing...Good move. However the SP-1 beta came out around the first of the year and was supposedly debugged. There will always be some machines that will balk at even a "debugged" version.

I agree. I always wait for the other guy to be the guinea pig and iron out the bugs before I decide to install new software.

I did a CloneGenius backup of my XP OS partition before I tried installing SP3.
I couldn't get the SP3 to install. I may try to do it directly from the MS website after they get it up.

I have to reload an image back on after I messed it up last night but I'll report any major cockups in SP3 here as time goes on.
