It isn't much over sized maybe three or four letters, but it is a pain in the backside. I know the fix is probably simple, but, I haven't the vaguest idea where to start.

I’ve had the same problem for two days now. Being computer illiterate, I thought it was me.

Oh ya, it isn't in the post themselves, it is only on the page that gives a brief description of the whole story and links to the post and threads.

Your browser will (should) wrap the text to fit inside your browser window.
However, if someone (rudely) includes a super-wide picture or a long link containing no spaces, the browser cannot wrap, and instead increases the width of the column.
This is often the cause of the symptom you cite.
It should pass when the offending post falls off the first page.

Thanks, I hit the fresh button and everything seems to be fine again.

This happened the other day when someone posted a long URL in the wrong spot while preparing their post. As soon as that particular post drops off the “front page,” then all will be normal.
Or as normal as it ever gets around here.

I have had the same problem for the past 4 days. Hitting refresh does not help.

Me too.
Ditto.
By the way, here is a new one:
Rather than having a choice of reading all categories, there could be something that would block out separate subjects.
One is those daily prayer threads to include those for Bush and daily photos of him. Maybe they could be put in a separate category.
I am not anti pray or religion. For many of us, it is a private matter not to be shoved down our throats.
Dont bother to flame me because will not be responding. I have said what I have wanted to say for about 8 years.
As they say in Spanish: He dicho. Punto final.

Had that problem a couple times, including this morning. Fixed it by panning to the extreme right on the brouse page and where is says "brevity: header / text", hit first one then the other, and it cleared up.
Good luck!

Ditto here but only on the list of threads. For several days now.

I have to keep scrooling back and forth to read it. Any suggestions? Taking a course at a computer scrool might help... :-)
Yeah, I know, let those who have never made a typo cast the first stone and all that. But I've been feeling snarky lately and so I have decided to share it...
