That is good news.
When I try things like that, I have to pay close attention to the five stages of "done-ness:" not quite ... not quite ... not quite ... not quite -- burnt!
Yes, it is very good news. I just need to get home, and be available for ‘oversight’ when it becomes necessary.
Well, given my choice, I'll take win/win, thank you.
Oh, and you can’t go? I am so sorry aboutthat but you have responsibilities at home?
Hi HOB.......
I’ve been working in the yard.
Going to pick up 3 grands in a couple minutes and bring them back here for the afternoon.
(sigh) My 86 year old mother...
BLess you kassie.
And you!!
LB, have fun with those grands. Do they want your constant attention or will they entertain themselves after some good quality time with you? Some of my most wonderful memories are of spending time with my grandmother.... ((( sigh no grandchildren in my future)))
lysie wonderful breakfast and snacks you provide! I need to diet...
NOTICE! NOTICE! NOTICE! EFFECTIVE 2:56 PM DATE, I MOVED
BACK INTO MY ‘SHACK IN THE BACK’...ALRIGHT!!!!!
You were not lost and alone. I was cut off from the world. The phones went out about 1000 yesterday and they were off when we went to bed last night. I’m just beginning now to see if the world is still revolving.
Dr. appointment tomorrow? You'll pass with flyin' colors!
I don't think you missed a heck of a lot, but you were missed.
How are you feeling?
Congratulations! Back where you belong.
I’m keeping the prayers up about the post-op pain you’re experiencing.
I still have this headache lurking and ready to pop out at any moment. I’ve been up for half-and-hour and already hitting the pain meds. Other than that, no problem.
The local veterinarian called me yesterday morning on my cell phone and asked if the youngest could assist in some operations. I thought she could and then went up to the school to track her down and see if she really could. Of course. So, she did a few more spays and neutering and started diagnosing some other animals. At any rate, from 1600 to 2100 last night she worked at the clinic they were having. She earned $40, too.
What great experience for her. Sarah would love to do that, but it’s not easy to find a vet that would do that around here.
She did job-shadow at a vet’s office in high school.
Good for her. I think having apprentice type experiences are fantastic to help decide what a person should do. I understand that Cornell has an adequate vet school. Any chance of her getting in there?
COST LAPEL UPDATE! HE IS STILL NOT WEARNIG ONE!!!!
:::::
Toby, if he put one on, would you vote for him? LOLOLOL!
I didn’t think so.....
