“Youngest”.......YOU are awesome!
So glad tests didn’t find anyting awful!
What do they do to you for three hours for the gallbladder test?
Take care, sweetie.
This sounds bad.
I hope that is not true.
passin’ thru. Marking spot.
Do you think all the work will be wrapped up this week?
We hope so, but there’s an outside chance we won’t be.
The D’s have their District Conventions this Saturday, so they won’t be willing to work on Saturday.
I am SO ready for it to be over.
I know you are and I don’t blame you.
Actually I haven’t talked to the dr. I was out... so the dr. told hubby about not finding anything but the early stages of an ulcer. I see the dr. on Tuesday of next week.
I have no idea. Seems like a long time though.
Me too.
Oh Toby, I’m sorry about your abdomen hurting from time to time. With the extensive surgery you’ve experienced, it will take a bit longer for everything to “settle in”. Do be careful and not overdo. NO HEAVY LIFTING, NO BIG STRETCHES, NO SIDE TO SIDE STRETCHES, BEND OVER CAREFULLY, if at all. From am old, old former nurse.
The wound nurses probably handle more sores than the Drs do and know more about them.
Molly, we think of you and how strong you’ve been throughout this ordeal. Prayers for your Mom’s comfort and for your peace of mind.
Hello bev. I was surprised the other day when you and my kin in Seattle got some snow. I remember few snow days there. One time, when I was in training, we helped drivers up the hill from the hospital because of the ice, first, then snow. Our head of nurses almost had a coniption when she saw us out there in our uniforms. LOL
You do have a spunky one Jem. Good for her.
When I was in Germany in ‘68 there were so many “EU” posters and bumper stickers, it was amazing. I told a friend, then, if the EU comes to pass, the Germans will be running the whole shebang in 20 years. Looks like something is happening.....and it ain’t good. The last time we were in Germany we travelled between Germany and Austria without going through “a border”, no kiosks with border guards or anything. The only place we had to show our passport was at the airport after landing in Munich.
Are you in PromiseLand now, or later?
Thank you.
I had a glimpse at the article about carving up Europe and it occurred to me that the Germans are finally accomplishing what they could not through two World Wars.
Interesting.
