That's a completely different view of the subject, but I find that view interesting. Are you generally comfortable about other kinds of uncomfortable subjects? One example from the book was a person who felt uncomfortable because the neighbor's dog kept her up all night with barking. She didn't want to be a complaining neighbor, but she didn't want to listen to the dog all of the time. Are you generally comfortable with those situations?
I guess there aren't that many things that I won't talk about for fear of making them happen. I'd love it if we could just make Hillary go away by not talking about her, but I don't have much faith in that technique.

I would not complain about or to a neighbor because I try to avoid trouble even if I had to get used to it.

I say speak up before you get angry and then the conversation is about doomed.
Speak up while you can still do it calmly.
