We all know we can't call Obama by his middle name, Hussein, because it's racist. We can't criticize him in any way because it's racist, and now calling him Barry, which is the name he went by years ago, is now also a "thinly veiled racist comment". So, no nickname, no middle name, no criticism..exactly HOW is McCain supposed to say anything during the GE WITHOUT being labeled a racist?
The only people injecting race into this contest aren't Republicans, or Democrats, Independents or "bitter" people, but Obamas OWN supporters who choose to see racism in every comment, every look, every glance..

Went to the site and found out that since it’s directed at a black man in a demeaning way, it’s racist.
Obviously, if the “Barry” in question weren’t black, the word wouldn’t be racist, but anything demeaning or derogatory directed at a black man is racist (including any and all criticism, obviously).
If they don’t like Hussein and they don’t like Barry then they should check out “Buraq”...

The DUmmies are all over this one, must’ve been three or four flaming threads about it when I looked at lunch. This is going to get worse in the GE. We already know that McCain isn’t allowed to use Obama’s name. I think he’s just going to have to call him “sir.” Anything else is going to be called “racist.”

I truly just wondered how the letters B-A-R-R-Y could be racist. But if it is coming from racists and used to diminish him, then I agree that it IS racist.
