I watched the Pope arrive in D.C. today. Our President, his wife and one daughter were so gracious. The other daughter wasn’t there.
D-Backs beat the Giants about a half an hour ago. We’ve won 10 games of 14. The most of any other teams.

What’s to know? Five guys on skates chase a little rubber disc. If someone else has it and you want it, simply knock them off of the puck. No elbows, no sticks, no tripping, no holding (more or less).
You can’t toss the puck the whole length of the ice, like you can pass the ball in basketball to a guy waiting by the net. Instead, you have to carry the puck into your offensive zone. That’s what the blue lines are for. When you are attacking, the puck must cross the blue line before any member of your team.
If the puck goes back out (crosses the blue line going the other way), then everyone on the attacking team must similarly cross the blue line back out.
That’s the most important thing to understand about the flow of the game.

I retired in 1995 on a private disability plan. No taxes. I paid the dis. plan for ten years before retiring. I do have other income which is taxable, which shouldn’t be IMHO, but that’s that.
