We go to a hearing next week on the status of Caleb, the child care worker says that it is going to go good for us, please keep us in prayer about this please....this is one each old man who has been wrapped around his little finger.

It is finally warming up a little today, been just real cool, enough to keep me in the house anyhow.

I am still unable to eat and have lost down to 205, that is lower than when I retired from law enforcement, didn't think I would ever see these days again, now to keep the weight off.

I am probably moving back to my ‘shack in the back’ at the end of next week, I go to the doctor next week and D said she would probably throw me out of her house then, just kidding.

I sure we all are keeping up with the situation is west Texas with those kids, strange kind of life they live.

The commentary I've read speculate that he's truly a man of the Left and just assumes that the "masses" will follow him & his ideas if only he can get thru to them....that they leave their "false consciousness" behind & admit their bitterness, etc.

I agree, Nobama really believes he can 'convince' people that liberalism 'works'. And I still say: How is this not another incarnation of the Duke of Deception, Mike Dukakis??? His entire campaign was about 'educating' people how gov't. 'can help people', how he was the 'competent' candidate, that he had all the ideas...Nobama's entire philosophy is informed by nothing other than his elitism (just like Tank Commander Mike)...;-))

I've been cleaning my bedroom closet, once again. Who would think that it could be so exhausting? I have 3 big bags of items to go to the Salvation Army.

I thought I only had the pain, but yesterday morning something happened like throwing a switch - I felt soooo good afterward. I think my body won the battle of the bugs and expelled them. I still have the pain but I guess I didn't realize I also had fatigue or the “uglies” along with it.

Rav, so sorry you still have the pain. My sister has had shingles and she’s told me about the pain and fatigue. I’m glad you’ve lost the fatigue, but do be careful.

I worked the early shift, cooked for a few golfers, and got off by 1400. So's I rented a six pack of beer and sat down to get the load off my feet.

I can fall asleep in 2.4 seconds, these days. I woke up to a 5 pack of hot beer and with the large dog nudging me toward the door (she did need out) and with cat hair making a mat in my lap.

Is it just me? Or is the physical job making me a tired wuss?

I'll check for an answer after my nap. Maybe Friday. ;)

Shingles bite. I've had them. Early recognition and treatment is the best. It took me 6 months to regain my motor strength on the right side after the overt symptoms cleared up.
