BAM Racing to limit Cup schedule

BAM Racing owner Beth Ann Morganthau announced Tuesday that the No. 49 team will further reduce its 2008 schedule to a partial Sprint Cup season.
The team switched from Dodges to Toyotas for the race at Martinsville, but then did not enter the races at Texas and Phoenix.
In an “open letter” released by the team, Morganthau said a potential sponsorship deal for the majority of the season had been reduced to a fraction of the races “and that fraction will likely be in the fall.”
