What a comeback and what a great game.

I'm not sure I agree with all that analysis. I think the game was a toss-up. I think it was Memphis's game with five minutes left due to shooting luck and the breaks of the game. After that, I think it was KU’s game for the same reasons.

I am not calling for a best of 3, 5 or 7 game series. Perfectly happy (now) to have it settled in one game (KU fan).

“wanting the team that beat me to get beat”

I’ve always liked the opposite outcome, where the team that knocked mine out goes on to win it all. I first developed this attitude in 1966?, when KU lost to Texas-Western(UTEP), in the last second in a controversial finish, who eventually went on to beat Kentucky in the finals and become cult heroes and movie stars.

And just think what the Davidson fans can now dream about. They only lost to Kansas by 2. Lucky shot or lucky break either way, and they can see that they might be NCAA champs.

I understand your position, a lot of us were upset when Mack Brown left for Texas. I just thought it was really classless when Kansas fans booed him. You also have to remember that Roy was asked twice to come to UNC.

I think Roy has gone out of his way, to the point of upsetting some UNC fans, to make amends.
