Good morning!
Mark Penn leaves the Clinton campaign at a crucial time...pre PA primary.
Charlton Heston's career as an actor and patriot is remembered...
Gen Petraeus will be testifying again before Congress, and the cringing Defeatocrats prepare their lies....
Good morning everybody. Posting and running...yet again...must be at dentist’s office for routine maintenance and I’d like to wedge an errand in prior to that.
Thanks for the links Molly, lysie I hope you are feeling better. Mr. Prairie is feeling better but he tires easily. I reminded him that lingering fatigue would probably last for weeks.
I'd love it, Snarly.
Take all the rest you need and just let everything wait for YOU.
Oh I know they are spoiled. But why say you this? @:)
Us too plus three days of rain. I don’t mind the rain, but with 80 degrees? Muuuuuggggeeeee. How are you doing kassie?
Good morning everyone! SOmetimes, I thing of someone’s name to add to my list and then I don’t spell it correctly. So if you weren’t specifically named, please take no offence, I’m not spelling very good right now.
I didn’t see yesterday’s hearings. This AM Roomey had “JOE” playing and they showed hillary showing us what a brilliant CIC she will be, then they showed a spot of Nobama showing us what he knows about the military and the war on terror, I didn’t see McCain? All I could think of when I saw those 2 socialists/communists was “IT IS SHOW TIME” on capitol hill. This AM I was sipping my coffee when our elected royals began entering and chuckled, Roomey gave me a strange look and asked “what have I missed”? I said “their makeup in perfect and those with hair have it all puffed up and so far they’re using the same hair stylist, they “dos” are all the same”. He shook his head, and informed me that this is a VERY SERIOUS hearing, and we should be paying attention to the words not the makeup and hair.
I thought it was just me always, I’ve noticed some really nasty remarks on some of the article posts too.
;(
It was hot and muggy down here too. 87% humidity the other day. Uggh.
Well I have an “outdoor” pup, who spends most of her cold and rainy days in the house and when the weather heats up she comes in and spends the day. I know spoiled pups, she even goes to “her” door when she thinks she’s earned a treat.
Oh kassie, I’m so sorry to hear that. Is there nothing you can do? Is there an assisted living near you?
Good morning to all........it has been beautiful weather in Hoosierland.
Nice to see you posting again, Toby.... it will be wonderful to start getting farm reports again.
Hugs and prayers for all that need them...((Toby)) and ((dear Lysie))...hope the warm spring sunshine puts the ‘spring’ back into your steps.
Alwaysconservative...your post 79 was right on the money.....we have some very discouraging posts made everyday on almost every thread...few exceptions.
Lately? One of the first things I noticed when I returned to FR after an absence of several years was that we the people who were so gung ho over W in 2000 were calling for his impeachment. Well, not we the people -- a lot of respected names were absent, and the tone of discourse had become what you'd expect on a leftist site.
Oh kassie, that is funny. Your pup (Beanie isn’t it?) has you trained like mine have me! (Remember, I have four of them. ) Welcome to the club! LOL!!!
Now I understand Dog. Please keep a watchful eye out for us and stay with us.
OK, Newsbee. As a transplanted Hoosier, I always have to know what part of Hoosierland tou're talking about.
It is discouraging, is it not? But, we must keep our good spirits and wonderful discourse about us.
If we haven’t had our morning walk around the golf course, she insists either Roomey or I take a walk in the late afternoon. She is persistent. You should see her when we play golf. If we’re in the club house too long, her nose is against the door and the tail is wagging. She does have very good golf manners. She leads the way from each tee to the putting green, then to the next tee. When we’re on the green she sits quietly on the edge and watches each ball glide to wherever or waits near the next tee. However, she does not show us where we hit a “lost” ball, she’s busy sniffing somewhere else. She also has a couple of golf buddies that she “plays” with. She leads from tee to green. There’s one friend who carries puppy cookies for her.
I saw Nim’s Island last night! No little people here to take. My grandkids are 475 miles away.. so went with friend.
I thought it was delightful.. fans of Gerald Butler will LOVE LOVE LOVE it. (ahem, know anyone off hand?)
Abigail Breslin continues to be remarkable. Hope she can lead a life free of the trappings of many of the young stars. You can take your kids & mom & not worry about embarrassment..
That's what's so attractive about this thread. We're kind of isolated -- in our own room, so to speak.
