We have a large wildlife sanctuary on the northeast side of town, so although we see lots of geese flying around, they tend to land at the sanctuary and hang out there, and don’t mess up the rest of the town. They’re fun to go and visit but you’re right, they are very messy.

Ok, we just got back from Leatherheads. On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give a maximum of a 6, probably a 5. Mr. Prairie says I’m being too generous.
Perhaps my radar was cranked too high because of my mistrust of Clooney, but I kept detecting a subtle anti-military theme throughout. At minimum, portrayal of WWI soldiers as clownish, liars, doofus, drunks etc. Lip service was paid “to our fighting men”, but that’s what it seemed like...lip service.
I dunno, my teeth were gritting a little. Both of my grandfathers served in WWI, one of them was a Purple Heart recipient.
All in all, I wish I had my money back.

Yeah, Ron Jr. is a big disappointment to me too. I mean, he could have at least mentioned that his folks had Cavaliers. I have not ONCE heard him mention it.
Toby, I think we’ll all be very surprised at election time. People I know who are definately in the liberal parts of the nation have told me that they and theirs are voting McCain.
Dog, I’m wondering if Clinton’s judgment is impaired. I have a friend who changed radically after open-heart surgery - like Clinton’s.
Canadian Geese spend a good part of the year here. They are here all summer long. Only in January and February have I NOT seen them.

GOOD MORNING FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, and believe it or not still reeling from Katrina, slow building. most construction workers gone back home and FEMA still a chain around a drowning man's neck...But we are sitting darn good at our household being we did NT have much damage.
THEN there are the trailers supplied after the storm by FEMA, they are pulling the small ore off and replacing them with Briant new reguiar size trailers. I can ASSURE you that folks will be living in them for years, rent free. a lot of them undeserving but hey, that is our federal government at work so what can you expect,
Now that I am off my ‘rage’ I am happy to report that we have No snow in the forecast here although a cool snap will come in tomorrow, down to the 60’s ‘spect I will have to wear some long pants instead of the shorts.
Been trying to talk D in letrting me move back to my ‘shack in the back’ but she won't do it until I go the doc in New Orleans in two weeks. When I do i will at least get a good ole cleaning of my shack and yes, here i the typical man, lazy on the house cleaning, not that I don't keep it somewhat clean, to my standards anyhow.
Obama seems to continue the ‘insert foot in mouth’ desease and I am telling you all it is a MUST that he be defeated,he will sink our nation as we know it today. Some of you know that once I get onto something I want let it sleep and he is my rant until election time, hope you y’all feel the same.
