Apparently, even if Rachael's show were actually getting cancelled (it's not), she won't go down without a fight. The TV chef is working on an animated series that stars herself as a young chef. The show is being produced by Oprah's company, Harpo Productions (naturally) and is scheduled for debut in January 2009.
Now, I'm not sure how I feel about this one, but to be quite honest, an animated version of Rachael might be easier on the eyes. Then again, it'll still be her voice.
My sweetie, Alton Brown, hasn’t chubbed yet...the perfect man...funny and a good cook :)
I love how when it’s on the Food Network, it’s called “slow coastal Southern Drawl”. When I was in a speech class in college, or briefing in the military, my native North Carolina tongue was considered “hick”.

I think Paula is beautiful and about the right weight for her age...and pretty healthy too.

A few weeks ago I had the ‘hots’ for bread pudding. Don’t know why, I just did.
I went to the Food Network and looked over zillions of recipes.
Finally chose Paula Deen’s.
WOW excellent.

I haven’t been brave enough to try to make it, but I am learning to be a good cook, I am more of baker though cause I used to work in dietary in a nursing home, many moons ago, lol...

The bread pudding is really a custard w/ bread in it. Also pecans, brandy, I added raisins.
Then a sauce on top.
Delicious.
Easy to make as I did it.
Oh ok.....I hear it is pretty in NC, especially near the mountians and coast line....
Yeah I know what bread pudding is, I remember having it once when I went out to breakfast with my grandpa when he was still alive...
