Changing from PDT time default

Any help to re-establish EDT as my time default will be appreciated. Since the FR downtime a few days ago, only PDT is available regardless of updating my "Preferences".

Forum Time (PDT) is only displayed on the main posts & threads page. If you click on a thread to read it, you should see your preferred time zone time. I see my preferred CDT on this thread.

Wait a minute.

I was seeing CDT on this thread until I posted that last reply. Now I only see PDT.

So, I don’t really have a valid comment to make, dern it.

It keeps changing.

One time it may show PDT. Then on refresh, it changes to CDT (my pref). Then back to PDT on the next refresh.

same here - this is showing PDT. I do get EDT 10% of time. Darn that gore internet technologie! :-)

OK, now I have to post and see what time shows up.

I try to keep mine on Houston time, but I'm actually at GMT+3. That one's not available. ;-)

PDT is the only real TZ that matters....just do the math.

I have a theory. Only those who contribute to FR can chose their preferences and time zones..all others default to PDT, and soon, will go to DailyKos when they click in a link..

So when someone contributes in their real name and wises to remain anonymous, their screen name doesn’t get credited with the donation, and they get cut out of some forum features?

I don't think there's any difference in features if you donate or not. However, you must be logged in!
