The last time I measured we had 20”. It started Friday about 8a as sleet. As the temps dropped during the day it turned more and more to snow and then really SNOW!! By afternoon it was becoming white out. I am really surprised management didn’t let everyone go home early afternoon (and for the first time payroll would have gotten to go, as all issues had been handled). We took a vote among us, and decided to leave. Getting home was a trip, as my gas tank was on E...I was going to Costco gas after work (the best laid plans). I knew I couldn’t be stuck in traffic very long. I made it halfway home when traffic came to a stop. I could see a station, but not get to it. We slowly moved forward enough that I could catch a side street and get into the station...WHEW!! Maybe 10” when I got home, and it kept coming down til the wee hours.
WOW, riding in on the fumes! Ma you gotta remember to fill up before you get to empty, thank goodness you got to the station in time.
Well 20 inches is close enough to 2 feet for me. Spring storms can be huge dumps of snow. We have had them in years past, good thing about them is we know they will not last.
