My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Whoa! That is fantastic news. I didn't know you could stay away that long. Good for you, Sis! You can when you've done your year on the mission, intended to go home for good and your military director, Program Manager and the COR call you in and say "What will it take to get you to come back?" and one of the answers is, "a break." ;-)
And I'm not even at Ali al "Saleeze;" I'm in a villa in downtown KC (my dime, of course) until I have to report for the Freedom Flight in a few days.
Life is good.
How are things in the 'Stan? Quiet, I hope.

It’s not easy finding cats that look like Finbar.
I did learn something, however. I never knew that most orange cats are male. So far I haven’t found out why.
