My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Yes, I do hate when that happens especially today, I made a special greeting for the Lair! GRRRRR!
We have a heat wave going on today, gonna get to the 70s.YAY
How’s the muse treating you?

Yup, back in Silicon Valley. Heat wave? Time to breakout the barbecue and swimsuit. The muse is hanging around and I think that I will have the finishing touches on my next poem tonight. Before the muse went on non-authorized absence, I jotted down some things that I had seen for the poem.
To: NY Attitude
Ah, so you’re back at the old routine then, work, work, work!
The muse is a fickle woman
she will come and go
she drives with full passion
disturbing one in the night.
After she has poked and prodded
your memory to exhaustion
she will then take flight
you’ll hear her laughing
in early morning as you fight
the cobwebs out!

Yup. It is amazing just how quickly the “In” box becomes overflowing after a few days off. I love the poem, it is so true. LOL.

Tom, I cannot get to my hosting site, I will not be able to do music until that happens. I have tried for 3 days to contact them, leaving messages each time. BUMMER.
