Got a trampy little kid that isn't quite ready to get inked? No problem. Toys "R" Us has lower-back tattoo stickers for little miss thing.
We like how they're right next to the Hannah Montana and Minnie Mouse stickers.
why would a Sr. Vice President reveal this about herself? not so much that she has the tattoo, but that she shared this information with--employees?--colleagues?--says something about her...
“Do you guys think Hillary gets her tramp stamps at Toys R Us?”
Chelsea maybe, but the mental image of Hillary with one...now I’m gonna have to pluck my eyes out.
I can see that.
But it’s like a lot of things. The house of your dreams that’s prefect for you is just another cheap McMansion to those who see it. Or that haircut that makes you happy is out of date or ugly to someone else. Or that hobby and group you belong to is silly and geeky to your coworkers.
The issue is being true to your true self and honestly, I wish I’d figure this out sooner. But I guess the time was right.
Again, almost all those that have a strong creative spark that I call a friend has a tat. Those that I admire and wish to emulate have tattoos. Many on my side of the mirror have tattoos. I chose mine for a dozen reasons, and it took years to finally do it. Now I’m adding to it....and the only time it’s seen is during a performance.
It’s something that will cause my niece and nephew to roll their eyes at their crazy Aunt, the nurses aids to chat in the hall about “you won’t believe what she has” and it still makes me smile when it catches my eye in the bathroom mirror.
It’s all internal and I guess what I’m saying is I’d rather be in room full of folks with tattoos than in a room full of folks who hate tattoos or see folks with tattoos as trash. I know which group would be far more interesting, even after weeding out the ones dont’ have a clue why they have a tat.
Good to know. I think ill swing by and pick up a couple for playtime with Mrs. Moleman!!
Its not watcha think.
Sure it is; they're just too stupid or ignorant to realize it.
That's okay, though; God still loves them anyway.
LOL!
Bet he likes tattoos though ;) And probably wishes the old stick in the mud, dull, self righteous types would quit making him look bad.
Are you pro or anti tramp stamp?
A lower back tatoo is little more than a beer rest for the guy and free advertising for cads and scoundrels.
Yea yea yea....
Tell it to the hand.
Lub it!
Very nice!
Santos vs. Homies; Now there’s a you tube clip I’d like to see!
Its not watcha think.
Regardless of whether or not you think lower back tattoos make a woman look slutty, one would hope that most here would find the marketing of even fake lower back tattoos to LITTLE GIRLS as repulsive as the marketing of thong underwear and other sexually oriented apparel to LITTLE GIRLS. It's bad enough that young teens are constantly being sexualized in corporate marketing strategies, but the push to sensualize and sexualize children at earlier and earlier ages is truly disgusting.
Yeah - it’s not the lower back tattoo in and of itself that makes girls look trampy, it’s the way they usually dress in order to reveal said tattoo to the world that makes them look trampy.
Thanks,
You get it-—
Also, I’ve never ever ever heard someone say “I’m getting a lower back tattoo because it looks sexy/trampy/slutty etc” In fact, what others see never comes into the picture. I have heard “I want to get something to mark X years of something. Or because I’ve always loved ____. Or I want to have something to remember Z by.
Also, it’s the best canvas=== the skin doesn’t get distorted or stretched, there’s usually a good pad of fat underneath and most of all, it’s the most descrete place-— not see in work clothes and only displayed via choice.
For tribal and other dancers who get it, it’s the base line of rolls and undulations-— amayas especially, and it moves with you, become part of who you are when you’re dancing. The only time I read tramp stamp or slutty is here.
Have you published your findings? Do you need a research assistant?
rhetorical question
