I found out that Grundig is now made by Degen in China.
DE1103 blows away the Grundig Yachtboy 400 and is can be found for 55 bucks as Steve said vice $190 for yachtboy

You asked the question, you are in charge. What you did is even worse than volunteering.

Grundig is still designed in Germany but I must say, the engineers at Degen have out done them.

I’ve got a Kaito 1102, works great and nice radio.
I like listening to radios and ham radio along with radio on wi-fi. And also CW.
Are you saying here your using your kaito 1103 connected to the computer, and also using an active loop for the 1103?. Are you using the computer for just audio?
***Got line out into the computer and active loop antenna. 80 bucks! I dont think I would have the money to go active***

Well that was annoying. I had W1CU up and chatter got going then the Alarm on this Kaito 1103 went off and switched me to 820 mhz.(which I had preset) I didnt note W1CU’s Frequency and the radio didnt remember the slot.
