Fair enough, thanks for your answer. I guess I still see the attraction as important. I’ve had friends for whom I never felt any attraction. I can’t imagine having a sexual relationship in those cases. I would have zero desire for that kind of relationship.

I once went out on a "date" with a guy I grew up with... (from diapers to high school) At the end of the evening...he kissed me. Afterward, we just looked at each other and went "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!" hahaha. I have had guy friends I find extremely attractive.......just not in a sexual sort of way....so I know where you're coming from.

Haven’t you ever found yourself attracted to someone after you gotten to know them based on their soul & personality? What happens if they lose their physical attractiveness due to an accident or something that we all experience - aging? I think the really good marriages are the ones of that unconditional love - no matter what happens to your physicality, the soul-to-soul connection is what carries you and transcends physicality. I think if you’re lucky enough to find that, you’re lucky indeed.
