March 2008 (Cambridge, MA) Middlesex County Assistant District Attorney Deb Bercovitch is prosecuting one of the most unusual child pornography cases you will ever come across. Bercovitch is internationally known for her infamous trespassing convictions against two schoolkids who were caught building a snow fort in Framingham, MA while on school property. Now Bercovitch is pressing felony child pornography charges against a New Hampshire man in an improbable case pitting the alleged "victim" squarely against the prosecution. The defendant faces a May 1st jury trial in Cambridge Superior Court. The defendant faces up to 5 years in prison if convicted.

1.)Should I send my contribution directly to you?
2.)Would our fellow Freepers vote the "victim" guilty or not guilty?
I would rather read a less biased description of the case. In any event, the poster is a newbie, and Mr. Frank is not someone I would want within 10 miles of my daughters. Whether the judge was goofy in a snow fort decision is irrelevant regarding the merits of this case.
the guy is a pornographer. difficult to work up any sympathy.
What are the “bad acts” that the message board postings are being used to demonstrate.
I understand it involves Thailand and sex.
If we are talking going to Thailand to have sex with kids then I favor the death penalty.
If we are talking about evidence of consensual sex with adults being used to “prove” child porn then that is very troubling.
That question makes all the difference.
Slow down and read the page again. The Thailand sex posting has been linked to the police informant... not the defendant.
I'll "judge her" all I want. I'm not the One who'll ultimately judge here anyway. I've never engaged in questionable activities to pay bills--and I've been in that situation myself.
This whole situation, from the act to the prosecution, stinks. Next time you feel the need to take pictures, think twice.
