Are you kidding me?! She hasn't got a snowball's chance in hades to pull this song off. There is only one other person in the entire world that could even remotely have a possibility of singing that stratouspheric break by screaming "Alone" and do it justice. His name is Robert Plant.
It sounds like she's going for it and knows if it doesn't go over she's done. You just don't pick a song like that unless you can wail!
Hmmm...interesting list. I believe that, “If I Were Your Woman” is on our banned list. I also believe this is not the first infraction Syesha has made against the banned list.
She’s going on my personal banned list.
Dude, you used my quote! Woo hoo! (I love the word “dude.” Been usin’ it all the time lately. Makes me feel like a swingin’ surfer chick instead of a middle-aged mom!) Thanks. I needed a smile!
(p.s. I really hope Michael Johns shows just how mediocre he is tonight so he will finally get booted!)
Yeah, but Kristie Lee is singing God Bless the USA, that's got disaster written all over it. Ramekin probably convinced her to sing it. "It will be great. People love patriotic numbers."
People will poo poo the song (if they’ve even heard of it) but I think she’ll sing it fine if she adds some country to it. We’ll see.
I think with this performance order Ramiele is in trouble. Even before seeing the order I thought KL had a shot at another week...seeing it, I really think so.

WOOHOOOOO! IBTP!
That's going to be a mess.
Jonny!!
Just giving you all a heads up, that I may not be here tomorrow night. :-(
LOL :)
Hiya!!!
Okie, here’s my initial thoughts...
Syesha - If I Was Your Woman by Stephanie Mills - More Oversinging, just what we need.
David Cook - Billie Jean by Michael Jackson - Shouldn’t Monchichi be singing this...... He’s more Jacko’s speed - Cook’s way too old.
Carly - Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Bonnie Tyler - Isn’t this one of the banned songs?
Chikeze - If Only For One Night by Luther Vandross - Hope he does a bluegrass version... LOL!!!
Brooke - Every Breath You Take by the Police - Nice Choice for an acoustic version
Jason - Fragile by Sting - Not familiar, so just please lay off the herb.
Ramiele - Alone by Heart - Buh Bye - singing Heart is the Kiss O’ Death
Michael - We Are The Champions by Queen - Uh, oh... We can’t eliminate 2 at once - Singing Queen is the Kiss O’ Death
Kristy - God Bless The USA by Lee Greenwood - It’s not Amazing Grace, but it is a country song. Can the new VFTW pick turn it around?
David A. - Youre The Voice by David Foster - A dull, socially conscious song??? WHO KNEW???
Bottom 3: Michael, Ramiele, Kristy
Eliminated: Ramiele
The Moral of the Story - Heart is a bigger K.O.D. than Queen.
Hi Jonny! Thanks for the ping-a-ling.
And where do you thing you’re going tomorrow night, missy?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Songs from the year I was born would probably be pretty good, but no one would recognize them :-)
I stand by my comments earlier about her singing and stage movement skills or lack thereof.
Remeile will get a block vote from Filipinos, but that may not be enough. Her performances have gone downhill that last three weeks. Voice to voice, she's much better than Kristi.
I don't judge these candidates on their religion, stripper jobs, porn pix or whatever. I try to focus on the voice and how they perform.
i HAVE A PROBLEM. sO FAR AsI know, Iddon’t know any song from the time period.
I might possibly know a Leigh Ann song, bu that’s about it.
