I need to be able to save a web page to a powerpoint slide. Screen capture isn't enough. I need to be able to scroll down and show a client the entire page, only I won't have access to the net. Is that possible? thanx.
IIRC, Webshot (a free web page image capture) will capture the whole webpage.
I am not that familiar with PP, but you should be able to put the image in an image box that would have an up-down scroll bar.

You can do several screen captures and piece them together in Photoshop or some other photo program. Be sure to flatten and save as a jpg or tiff.
Then, you can insert it into PP and will be able to scroll up and down and show the entire image. Not sure you can scroll in slideshow mode, but you can in the other modes.
If the web page is the only graphic in the PP presentation, make the slide/page format the length and width of the webpage you want to display.
Does any of this make sense?
Snagit has a full page screen capture mode ... think you can get a free download of it for eval purposes
Yes, it makes sense. I’m new to powerpoint but not new to computers. Not being able to scroll in slideshow mode is a handicap, but maybe not that big of a deal. thank you
Thanks. That will work.
If you have a Mac, you could PDF it.
