Go to your starting FR page - News/Activism, whatever.

Look in the very top right corner.

There’s a little box there. Enter what you want to search for and hit Go.

Does anyone know how to prevent the pictures from displaying on the now “Comments” page, previously “Browse”?
When someone posts a pic from a dailup connection it takes a long time for the whole page to display. Also, the Comments page does not have the “Sort” option anymore.

I find that google indexes FR better than FR indexes FR.

To search, I go to google.

In the search box

site:www.freerepublic.com keyword keyword keyword keyword

It’ll find it.
