Everyone is pilling on Obama right now. I'm afraid of two things: blowing the utility of the dirt too soon before the election and getting stuck with Hillary instead.
Obama is the easier one for McCain to beat. I don't care what polls say right now. He'll be much easier when it's a one on one show. Hillary would be much tougher to defeat than Obama.
Also, getting all this J.Wright stuff out there now may make the media and public numb to it before election day when it is more important.
I agree with what you’re saying, but it’s a moot point. There is nothing that FReepers are going to be able to do or say to dampen the media frenzy at this point simply because we’re not the ones instigating it.
I mean, come on folks, this story has been out there for months now. Why all the sudden interest?
I’ve actually lost count of the number of stories about Wright that have popped up all the sudden. Too much, too fast, too widely spread to be coincidence.
It’s pretty obvious to me that Hillary and Bill are calling in a few media markers right now. This has their MO stamped all over it.
I am with you. If we go easy on Obama now and he will be the Dem nominee, it will be hard to go back to this, and if we did, it would look political. We need to have the light of truth shine on Obama.
And the way this election is going, it's very hard to get the answer from a Crystal Ball to find out which Dem would be easier to beat. Obama’s hypocrisy reflects badly on the entire Democrat party.
He is a Trojan Horse — pretending to be a moderate and non-racist, when in fact he is an America-hater, wanting to destroy our country and way of life from within.
In my perspective, Obama and Clinton are political clones of each other in significant respects. In fact, I can substitute Clinton’s name for Obama’s in my anti-Obama posts concerning constitutionally unauthorized federal spending and homosexuality and repost them without compromising accuracy.
The itty bitty attack the New York Slimes put on John Insane (which he could only mouth was disappointing) was but a foretaste of the gorry future. The media will define McLaim in short order, leaving the public to see only an old man with a cancer history and an anti-Republican bent who favors amnesty and the ‘otherside of the isle’. The Keating Five will not even be needed to sink Johnny’s little boat. I fear for my nation!
Hillary’s middle name is the key.......the reason Rush is in love with her!
I disagree ... when you are in a fight, you don’t stop when the other guy is stumbling, you keep hitting him until he cannot get up any longer....then you kick him one more time for good measure.
How many FReepers have you known that posted three threads on the day they signed up?
We are picking up the numerous stories, I suspect a number of the articles were written by Hillary supporters.
Those of us who have followed politics for a while know the danger of simply dismissing polls out of hand.
I disagree with the premise. It has been very difficlt to get the MSM to report negative stories on BHO. For whatever reason, the SNL skit maybe, this has become acceptable now. But it may again become “not the thing to do”. So this window of opportunity should be taken advantage of.
if so, then I want to see Hillary.
blacks will stay away.
If not, then I want to see Obama
as it will make no difference.
Further, we may even see the Raili Odinga, Kenya connection, be reported by the MSM.
So you are calling me a green horn wow I don't care what the Turks have to say either
Got news for you. This dump on Barack (Redacted) Obama is way bigger than FR, or even Rush Limbaugh could ever make it.
Hillary’s pulling out the big guns now, as everyone has been expecting. As damaging as this might be to Obama, it may not even be the grand finale.
You can’t stop it, best thing to do now is sit back and enjoy the show as this all plays out.
Popcorn, anyone?
This stuff needs to be brought out early and often. Last minute gotcha stuff never works with democrats because they own the media.
I totally agree with you. Rush made a mistake. We want Obama to be the nominee. Not only do we get rid of the Clintons, he would be easier to beat.
I believe Clinton could take Ohio in the GE. She made a lot of impact with her rhetoric on “getting things done on the economy”. McCain is weak in that area and Ohio is undergoing a tremendous slowdown. Hillary would run strong with the working class. I don’t think they would go for Obama. Look at how poorly he did in the Ohio exit polls.
It boils down to Ohio, Ohio Ohio. Clinton could win it with Stricklands help. McCain would trounce Obama.
