Thank you, Conor! That is an ambitious list of music, don’t think I know even half of it but sure I would love to hear it. It is wonderful to anticipate the visit of Benedict XVI to the U.S. Keep us posted.

The Papal Mass music is listed on this thread - IIRC, you asked to be notified.

You remembered! Oh, I would just love to hear the rehearsals!
I can’t sing anymore, unless it’s bass- too much football, basketball, and too many OoohRahs. But I still love to hear it.
This list looks about as long as the one for my wedding ; ) I had a choir, a pair of trumpets, and threw in a guitar and solo vocal just because I COULD! LOL!
What will you be wearing?

We will wear dark trousers, white shirts and red ties. The choir sounded great at the first rehearsal.

We're looking forward to it - its the biggest choir I've ever sung in at 250 people.

Yes, very eclectic - I'm thankful for the Mozart - if it were up to me it would be much more traditional music, but I guess they have to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.

Yes, I think, musically speaking anyway, the Ave Verum will be the highlight. The program includes ALOT of music, will be fascinating.

LOL, freema...:)
Conor, I am bragging on you at church:)
To: baa39; ConorMacNessa
I prefer more traditional music also, but some Catholics like the newer composers. I look forward to more updates, Conor Macnessa!!
To: La Enchiladita
I could probably put some sexy blues on, but I don’t know how the Pope would take it! LOL!
