I voted for Hillary.
A Voting Booth in TX | 03/04/2008 | Li'l ol' Me

Posted on 03/04/2008 5:43:19 PM PST by BJClinton

It happened. I voted for a Clinton.

Loral, China, Lippo, Vince Foster, FBI Files...those Clintons.

Oh yeah, and my monica, er, moniker.

Of note: I vote in Williamson County, in a particular district that can best be described as the redest precinct in the redest county in arguably the redest state. Lines for the Democrat primaries were making laps around the place. The GOP had 3 people go through it in the half hour I was in line.

Congrats Hillary, keep fighting and fight dirty.

I voted for a Clinton and I feel dirty. I'm going to take a shower now, let me know if anything happens.

I agree.
Bill Clinton put Rush on the front page.
Hillary would be (fat) target for the following four years, LOL

BJ, I don’t know if you are listening to KLBJ this AM, but it sounds like 75% of the dim voters yesterday were actually Republicans.

Personally, I would have all primary elections be closed (party members only). But as long as they’re not, why not cynically take advantage when your own party’s candidates, well, suck?

I must say I totally agree with you on that reply. Close all primaries and have all states within one week. None of this month after month of political ads.

I was ticked off listening to the Jeff Ward show on KLBJ on the way home. Some DUmmie idiot called in and said it was really poor sportsmanship that Republicans crossed over to vote for hellary, since "we were unhappy with our candidate".

I felt like calling in and telling Jeff to remember all the DUmmies crossing over in the early primaries and caucuses and FORCING McLame down our throats. The show was over before I got home, so never had a chance to voice my opinion, but may call in today. Turnabout IS fair play.

IMO you helped to put her in the White House. This woman and her husband will literally claw their way back to the White House. I predict she will be president.

So what was the Williamson Co analysis?

How many voters in 04’s primary vs yesterdays?

Republicans who crossed over did the right thing.

-you weren’t voting for the Hilda-beast for President, you were voting for the weakest, most unlikable dem candidate in the history of the Rat party.

As one other poster [Semper911] said: “I know I did the right thing, because McCain didn’t need my vote and Obama must be stopped. McCain can beat Hillary, but not Obama.”

I was sitting in a restaurant the other night, listening to 4 young libs talking about Clinton VS Obama, at the next table. They were ALL really down on sHrillary, but very excited about Obama. McCain can beat the hilda-beast, but uninformed young people look up to Obama with brain-dead, fawning adulation. It is cult-like.

That is not the first time I’ve overheard dims talk like this. I’m telling you all: Listen to the libs talk! They don't like H.C. anymore then we do!

They won't vote for her, either. She’s a shrill, nagging nurse ratchet, and she will lose! Obama on the other hand will, draw out the young uninformed voters like you’ve never seen before. They look at him like he’s a rock star/messiah/JFK.

If Obama is defeated, the young libs/socialists will be VERY disillusioned, and won't even vote. Count on it.

I personally know people here in PA and NJ who LOVE Hillary and will vote for her. Now that she's strong again, I predict a joint ticket with Obama, which will result in a landslide for democrats.

"Republicans who crossed over did the right thing."

You are certainly entitled to that opinion. I don't view a vote for a Clinton to be a 'right' thing in any sense of the word.

Very young/first time voters are notoriously unreliable over a period of time. Will these young people maintain their enthusiasm and show up at the polls in November? Remains to be seen, but history says that they won't.

In the meantime, your thinking has possibly breathed new life into the Clintons' campaign. I can't imagine why anyone would want to give the impeached former president and his spouse in name only another chance of darkening the doorway to the White House.

I couldn’t believe it, either! I was waiting for my precinct convention last night and a woman told me that her Republican daughter and son-in-law decided to do what Rush said—they went to the Demoncrat primary and voted for Hillary. Then, another man with us said he had a couple of co-workers doing the same thing!

>”I personally know people here in PA and NJ who LOVE Hillary and will vote for her.”<

-Sure. There are some die-hards who will vote for hillry, maybe 40%. They are the hard-core old crusty socialist-queezlings. And those same socialists would/will vote for Obama. if he becomes the candidate. But I’m not talking about them.
I’m talking about the young, fawning Obama supporters who don’t really have a clue, but they don’t like H.C. Not at all.

>”Now that she’s strong again, I predict a joint ticket with Obama, which will result in a landslide for democrats.”<

-Not a chance, there is NO way Hillary takes Obama as VP. It’s not in her makeup to anoint someone who has challenged her. If anything she will seek to *bury* him politically.

>”Very young/first time voters are notoriously unreliable over a period of time. Will these young people maintain their enthusiasm and show up at the polls in November? Remains to be seen, but history says that they won’t.”<

>”In the meantime, your thinking has possibly breathed new life into the Clintons’ campaign.”<
-That’s the idea behind the thinking.

>”I can’t imagine why anyone would want to give the impeached former president and his spouse in name only another chance of darkening the doorway to the White House.”<

-exactly why she is the weaker of the two candidates.
All of her negatives will come out to the forefront ion the general election. Obama does not have this baggage to contend with. He’s a clean slate, so to speak.
Which is his appeal to the great un-washed, his mantra for change. SHillary is the status quo.

My daughter is a senior at TAMU, and her take is this. All the kids like Barry Hussein for his “hope and change” message and that is it - nothing else. Most say they will not vote for the beast if she wins the nomination. One of my co-workers said his mid 20s daughter said most new voters were voting for Barry Hussein because it is “trendy”. There are many who say they will vote for McCain if she gets the nod for the dims.

True, McCain needed no help for the (R) nomination. The libs here in Austin were b*+(#ing about the Republicans crossing over and voting for her, because they were unhappy with our nominee. SGT Sam reminded them that the only reason we got him, is that many (d) voters crossed over in the early caucuses and primaries and forced him down our throats. Payback is a B****.

Obama is just stupid enough to believe the drivel Dems feed to the moonbat wing of the party.
