*That’s* your best shot??? ‘Strewth! Are you the full quid? This is like having a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

BTW true story bound to prompt some outrage. I bought a Billy a few years ago. {huge mistake} Well I kept him in a separate lot with barb wire and an electric fence. He kept getting out. Finally I had about enough of him so I got a water hose and wetted him down. When he tried to go through the fence again I grabbed the electric fence handle and crammed it into his side. He didn’t even flinch. LOL That was when I decided to sell him. Too bad he got to all my Nannies in July though. I never got so sick of burying animals in my life thanks to him.

...He is not going to come back and harm you or your family...

No chance of him joining some police agency and and using his power of being in law enforcement to do whatever he wants to or whatever he is told to do to the citizens like you or me or someone else?

Uh, and you tried to keep a goat in with a mere fence?

Bwahahahahaha~

My dad's buddy had a goat farm ~ the barn was really neat ~ no stalls ~ just a lot of 2X4s nailed flat to the inside walls.

The goats stood on the 2X4s.

There was a kind of shelter built over the main door back to about 1/4 the way insde the barn. Otherwise the goats would be up there overhead dumping stuff on you.

Then there were the rafters ~ good grief ~ never saw anything like that in my life.

These animals are 3D to the max and can jump higher than a tiger straight up!

Not any more a chance than you or anyone else. Did the pilots who bombed Germany & Japan come home and blow up buildings? How about the ones who shot Germans? Did the soldiers come home and kill Germans? Of course not. BTW some of the most abrasive and arrogant officers you'll ever want to deal with are animal control officers. Not saying they don't get some leglit calls but rather this.

We live in a nation and society that gives more protections to animals than kids when it comes to abuse. If you don't believe it go take Foster Parenting Classes and find out for yourself. Their goal and agenda in many cases is reunification with the perp parent yes even in sexual cases. Now is that sick enough? Kinda makes a fake puppy kill movie seem trivial.

I know my perspective is different than most folk's and, in large part, theirs is unreservedly justified. They look at their little ankle nipper and see Fifi or Fufu, I see another f'n dog. But that bond, that emotional attachment, is very real. The law is adjusting to the value of pets as companions and I'm begrudgingly doing the same. The pampered pets of today are a completely separate entity from the barnyard dogs of my youth.

The application of that emotional attachment was bound to cause a stir when people saw that film. I think it's an exaggerated response but it is real and the incident does reflect on the Corp. The Corp has a right to protect its image and discipline the offender.

LOL Yep and I’ve seen them kill their young too. No reason for it just BLAM and a baby sailing 20 or so feet into the air. I don’t let my grandkids even go inside the lot. The Billy I controlled him by about once a week grabbing his horns and pinning his head to the ground till he bleated. Otherwise I didn’t turn my back on him.

Well crikey. If it hada been a cat nobody would have cared.

That's not a significant observation but I did want to use "crikey" in at least one post.

We had a pet billy. Get a bunch of kids out in the back yard (ours liked to patrol the oak trees) and they'd take turns bending over to tease him into an attack, then try to run.

He could turn on a dime and get'em anyway.

He didn't make it through one winter. Sure did miss him.

The pup definitely isn't moving, and the yips do not sound like they are coming from the pup. It's either already dead or (more likely) a fake, stuffed animal.

Having said all that, even if this is fake, these guys should be dealt with. It was stupid.

You must be hard of hearing, the puppy was frighten and was whimpering!

Sounds off camera to me. If the pup was actually frightened, it would have been kicking its legs and such. I didn't see that in the video. That's what makes me think this was all staged with one of those life-like stuffed animals.

The guys who did it should still get punished, even if it was fake. Stupid.

My sister-in-law had a goat that loved to stand up on the rump of a cow that was in the same lot. It was the oddest thing in the world to walk out the back door and see that little goat on top of that cow.

Actually, people did say things about the nutcase in Saudi. Some noted how insane it was, and others someone blamed Islam, while ignoring some of the horrible things people do here. It’s not a hoax.

The puppy didn’t look dead to me. What was making the squealing sound?

No human being could make a dog sound like that. /sarc

The most telling thing is that the sound of the squealing did not fade away as the dog was tossed. The squealing was clearly coming from a source close to the camera. Add to that the fact that the puppy did not make any independent moves or sounds while it was in the hands of the Marine and the only logical conclusion is that it was dead before they tossed it.

That being said, all of the Marines involved in this incident need to be demoted at least one rank for filming this stupid stunt.

Just checed the google news for a possible update on this story, and there are several articles stating that the Marine’s family is getting death threats.

The USMC is “looking” into the video but have made no public announcements at this time.

You are making yourself look incredibly stupid. Follow the story and see the outcome and end. Why is everything fake to people like yourself?

So far, no one has determined the so-called "puppy" is real. Do you have other information?

I’m qute sure that Mr Aaron Smith’s Magic Depot doesn’t have a copy of the receipt for the U.S. Marine in question. Take a look at the video? The animal in question doesn’t have any markings on its right flank as per the
toy.

Follow the story and see how it turns out. Somehow I don’t think that Mr Aaron Smith is going to be called as a witness for the defense.
