What's up with the main forum pages???
The abibility to post a new thread directly form the Forum page is missing. We used to be at the top right and now it's gone. To post a new article we have to go to an existing article to find the Post Article link.

That would explain it.
At my 1st duty station early on in Taipei . . . somehow . . . even though I’d sort of been aware of the trick in Radioman “A” school . . .
I was in a room at a HICOM station behind steel doors away from the rest of my 10 person watch group. The coffee pot was in my space.
They came out . . . as I usually just proof read traffic etc. with little else to do . . .
with the old carbon TTY roll trick.
I had that paper all over that room obligingly trying to ‘correct’ the problem.
Of course the whole watch quickly filed back to see the greenhorn BA degreed idiot doing his thing. Finally, the old E6 had pity on me and explained the quick solution.
