A computer is a computer.

The only people I see saying that are Windows users... never Mac users. Do you suppose there is a reason?

I wouldn’t say that about Windows in film work. But I would say that at this point, Linux is the more important OS in Hollywood, because most CGI work... including the number-intensive rendering process... is done almost exclusively with Linux desktops and Linux renderfarms. Macs thus far are just used for video editing.

Because we know it’s true and aren’t silly enough to worship our computers like a god.

It’s just a tool, or an entertainment platform depending on what you’re doing. Maybe a better tool but still just a tool.
