huh, I wasn’t aware that Jack Valenti died this year. Did I ever tell you I met him briefly? He was arrogant. He was speaking in D.C. and ran over his time, causing me heartburn because I had a convention thing planned and had to scramble.

I worked at NBC for several years. It’s actually my favorite studio.

They forgot to mention Robert Goulet (Camelot) in the Memorial list. It was from February 2007-January 2008 and he died in October 2007.

I just read a little about Edith Piaf. Now I really look forward to seeing the early film “Edith et Marcel” which you recommended. She had an interesting short life. In one bio, it said that she had many husbands and lovers and that she had a rough childhood.
