Ender’s Game (based on Orson Scott Card’s novels) is a potential barn burner, but it doesn’t seem to be high on Wolfgang Peterson’s priority list.
There was some hype over development of Rendezvous w/Rama (Arthur C. Clarke/Gantry Lee’s story), but it seems to be stuck in limbo.
I’d like to see a movie of “The Mote In God’s Eye.” They’ve got the tech to do the three-legged aliens, and an alien planet now.
A great book, and it would be easily adaptable to the screen. I was disappointed with all the sequels to it, though.
How about the Foundation series?
That would be a good one.
Rendezvous with Rama would make a good movie if it sticks to the story in the first book - the sequels were snoozers.
Is someone really thinking about making “Ender’s Game” into a movie? I picked that one up nearly by accident when it came out, and loved it.
