My keyboard's F-10 and F-11 keys have green lights below them and its wreaking havok. I this it must be some kind of sticky, hot, mouse shortcut thing but I cannot figure it out.
If I press the number 9 I get 79 and if I hit 7 I get 79. Its the same with U and O and J and the . button
I have been trying for over a week to figure this out and its grating. I have seen others mention this on other forums without resolution.

Go to an internet cafe or a library and try one of theirs, see if it helps.

Seriously it sounds like either a warped board OR a foreign object lodged under the key pad between the board causing the problem.

I hope not. All of the revolutionary propaganda I was writing might catch some attention. This prob sure slows that down

Not sure about that. What brand? Mine is a Dell about six months old and no lights there. Maybe someone has the same brand.

Have you tried changing the settings in your keyboard control panel?

Say what about the function key? Stuck maybe? Fn + F 10 on mine opens the CD door. But no lights. Try this. Get a #2 pencil and begin tapping the fn key and other offending keys with the eraser head. I’m serious my dad is a retired Bellsouth tech and says it does wonders for sticking phone keys.
