[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Doing great - getting shorter every day! Actually, I leave this lovely place right around that countdown date and arrive home a few days later, but it's getting close! :-D

How are things with you? Are you going to Opening Day?

We're digging out of about 4-5" of snow.

Never been to Opening day at Wrigley!...Too early in the season!

I like going to a ball game when it's warm & sun-shiny. Too often, Opening day at Wrigley is cancelled due to SNOW!

Plus, even tho the temp might be in the 50's, with the wind coming off Lake Michagan, it's more like 30!

Meg, your flower frames are inspiring me! The Tulips are gorgeous!

I should go to the market and buy some potted Tulips for forcing, they surely lift one’s spirit.

Still in pain, walking is difficult to say the least. Have to keep moving though. ;0) Thank you for Good thoughts!

My goodness, your weather is as crazy as ours, we have a light dusting of snow this morning, but forecasts say we are gonna get swamped! The map shows a huge portion of NY to be under a huge snow dump.

I was looking for poetry about Foxglove flowers, it’s out there , but takes a fair amount of time to locate the perfect poem. Then too, there are the copyright issues, I like to stay with dead poets, safe that way! LOL
The picture is one I took of my Foxgloves, I am thinking I will not have much in the way of flowers this year, the workmen have trampled everything in my garden. :(

As the day goes forward the weather is deteriorating. It’s beginning to get sloppy looking outside. Glad I don’t have to go out today.

Last night in spite of my aches I baked a Cheesy Onion bread! Oh delicious. ;0)

It’s addicting !! LOL

And one can do their own thing with the recipe, at least I do. Sometimes I throw in bacon bits, or bits of ham, whatever one has.
